Cooking at an early age with his mother and grandmother, Matt Hritz fell in love with food.
He pursued his culinary passion only after earning a degree in biology from Penn State University and trying out the life of a research scientist. But for Matt, cooking food was always more enjoyable. He took the leap into the culinary world apprenticing in the kitchens of Le Bec-Fin and Deux Cheminées in Philadelphia before entering the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY to earn his degree in culinary arts. Matt’s hospitality and service experiences include the Four Seasons in Chicago; the Radnor Hotel, Teresa’s Café in Wayne (Best of Philly), and country clubs along Philadelphia’s Main Line. Matt’s Daily Kitchen was founded by Matt and his wife Jessica to provide families, professionals and small companies delicious meals using carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients.
